Ansdell Plumbing
Supplies
A full marketing-and-e-commerce build for a family-run plumbing merchant — a trade-counter brand online, with a live product shop, card checkout, and automated order fulfilment.
A trade counter,
now open online.
Ansdell is a trusted local merchant with a trade counter and bathroom showroom. The brief was to take that reputation online: a marketing site that speaks to trade and retail alike, plus a real shop that can take an order and fulfil it automatically — without adding hours of admin.
Marketing Website
A polished multi-page site covering the trade counter, bathrooms, showroom, finance, and trade accounts.
Online Shop
A live product catalogue powered by Supabase, browsable and searchable, with a full basket experience.
Stripe Checkout
Secure card payments end to end, with webhook-driven order handling — no manual reconciliation.
Automated Fulfilment
Paid orders trigger an automatic dropship email to the supplier — the order moves itself.
Google Reviews
A live reviews carousel pulling the merchant’s real 5.0 Google rating straight onto the homepage.
Audience Pages
Dedicated bathrooms, showroom, trade, and finance pages that speak to each type of customer.
A real shop,
not a catalogue PDF.
The heart of the build is a genuine e-commerce shop. Products are stored in Supabase and rendered fast through Next.js, so customers can browse the range, view details, and add to a basket exactly as they’d expect from a national retailer.
For a local merchant, this opens a second storefront that never closes — orders can come in overnight, at weekends, from anywhere on the Fylde and beyond.

Browsable catalogue with free-delivery progress
Paid, packed, and
passed on — automatically.
A slide-out basket with a free-delivery progress meter nudges order values up, then hands off to a secure Stripe checkout for card payment. Nothing about the money is left to manual handling.
The clever part happens after payment: a Stripe webhook fires an automated fulfilment email to the supplier to dropship the order directly. The merchant sells the product without ever touching a box — the system does the admin.
A 5.0 rating,
live on the homepage.
Trust sells plumbing supplies as much as price. A live reviews carousel pulls Ansdell’s real Google Business Profile rating — a perfect 5.0 across 22 reviews — straight onto the homepage, with genuine customer quotes updating automatically.
It’s social proof that maintains itself: as new reviews come in on Google, they appear on the site with no manual work.
Every customer
gets their own page.
A plumbing merchant serves very different people — a homeowner planning a bathroom, a fitter after brassware, a builder opening a trade account. The site meets each of them with a purpose-built page rather than a one-size-fits-all pitch.
Dedicated bathrooms and showroom pages sell the retail experience; the trade and finance pages speak directly to professionals and their cash flow.

Built for the
professional buyer.
The trade counter is the core of Ansdell’s business, so it gets dedicated space online — explaining the offer to fitters and builders and inviting them to open an account.
A finance page rounds out the experience, giving customers clear options for larger purchases. Together they turn a browse into a long-term trade relationship.
